About the NFC Team

Al Riskowski / Executive Director

Bringing leadership to Nebraska Family Council, effective June 1, 2001, is Al Riskowski. Al has pastored for 25 years along with his wife Linda. Al and Linda have been married for 38 years and have raised four children.

Al has served the Body of Christ in many areas including racial reconciliation, handicap ministry and family-related issues. Al was on the Nebraska Family Council Board of Directors before becoming Executive Director.

The desire of Al's heart is to strategically impact today's culture with the saving and transforming message of Jesus Christ. He is committed to mobilizing Christians to impact government, schools and public policy with Judeo-Christian values.

Karen Bowling / Associate Director

Karen owned an interior decorating business in Lincoln, Nebraska for 25 years before joining the NFC Team. She has two sons, a daughter-in-law and three precious grandbabies!

Prior to becoming associate director, Karen volunteered at Nebraska Family Council. She assisted with Day of the Family, Salt and Light Banquet and was involved with the prayer team supporting the Defense of Marriage Amendment that Nebraskan's supported in 2000.

Karen's passion is to network intercessors. She established NFC's State-wide Intercessory Prayer Network that now reaches out to over 1000 individuals in 175 Nebraska communities. She serves as the Nebraska Director for National Day of Prayer. Karen's responsibilities include coordinating Adopt a Leader in Prayer and overseeing the Nebraska House of Prayer.

Nancy Dietrich / Administrative Coordinator

Nancy worked with Centel Telephone Company here in Lincoln for 14 years until their merger with Sprint. After that she joined her husband John and together they started a commercial printing business. At a point of transition for Nancy, a position at Nebraska Family Council was offered to her. Nancy and John have been married for 35 years and have one grown son.

Nancy started with NFC as a part time employee, that has worked into a full time position. She helps with graphics, web development, data bases and radio production.

She has been active in her church in lay ministry for 29 years, leading prayer and support groups. She has a heart for prayer and ministry to people who need encouragement.

Linda Riskowski / Financial Director

Linda completes the staff at NFC. She volunteers her time to oversee the financial end of the ministry.

Al and Linda have been married for 38 years, together they have raised four children.

Linda enjoys gardening and being out doors.
